I believe people should be able to live and thrive wherever is genuinely best for them, even when that is not where they started. Many internationally mobile families and professionals eventually face difficult decisions about where to live, establish residency, invest or plan their future.
My perspective is shaped by close to 20 years working within United Nations agencies across East Africa, the Middle East and South Asia. My work involved risk analysis, credibility assessment, project coordination and capacity development for governmental institutions, often in situations where careful judgement had real consequences for people.
I also bring first-hand experience of moving across borders independently and with family, and navigating residency, property, identity, documentation and visa processes across the Middle East and Asia. This helps me understand both the formal requirements and the practical pressures behind these decisions.
My recent professional work focused on data responsibility, risk mitigation and information quality. This experience guides how MAZ Horizon handles personal information: carefully, confidentially and only for the agreed purpose. Information is not shared with marketers or local service providers without the client’s knowledge and permission.
